According to forecasters, light rains are expected in the western, northern, and also central regions during the day, as well as in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. No precipitation is expected in other regions.

The wind will blow from the west and southwest at a speed of 7–12 meters per second.

At night, the temperature will vary:

• in most regions from +14 to +19 °C,
• in the south and east warmer - from +17 to +22 °C,
• in the Carpathians cooler - from +9 to +14 °C.

During the day, thermometers will show:

• in the western, northern and central regions - from +20 to +25 °C,
• in the southern and eastern - from +27 to +32 °C,
• in the Carpathians - from +17 to +22 °C.

According to forecaster Nataliya Didenko, hot and mostly dry weather is expected in Ukraine on July 20, however, there may be short-term rains with thunderstorms in some regions.

Rains will fall in the western and northern regions, and in the evening - also in Luhansk region. In other areas, it will be clear and sunny.

The temperature regime will be diverse. It will be coolest in the west, where thermometer readings will rise to +20…+24 °C.

In the north, +24…+26 °C is expected, in the center - up to +28 °C, but in Vinnytsia region it will be slightly cooler, up to +20…+22 °C.

In the eastern regions, it will be a real summer: +26…+27 °C in Kharkiv region, and in Luhansk and Donetsk regions - up to +35 °C.

In the south, the weather will warm up from +27 to +30 °C, in some places, particularly in Zaporizhia region and the steppe Crimea, the temperature will rise to +34 °C.

In Kyiv, periodic rains with thunderstorms are forecasted on July 20. The daytime temperature will remain comfortable, fluctuating between +20…+23 °C.
