16-year-old Onofriychuk won the gold at the World Cup in rhythmic gymnastics all-around.


Ukrainian gymnast Taisiya Onofriychuk became the winner of the first stage of the World Cup in rhythmic gymnastics in Bulgaria. She competed in all disciplines and won a gold medal with a total score of 114.450, ahead of Bulgarian Stilyana Nikolova by 3.800 points. Another Ukrainian gymnast Polina Karika took 12th place.
Taisiya Onofriychuk's debut victory at the World Cup stage in rhythmic gymnastics
This is Taisiya's first gold at the World Cup stages; she previously won silver and bronze. She also reached the finals in all-around, while Karika will compete in the final with clubs. The main finals will take place on April 6. This is a significant achievement for Ukrainian gymnasts and for sports in general.
