A father of many children died from a sudden heart illness. Let's remember Mykola Kryshtopets.

We honor the memory of the defender of Ukraine Mykola Kryshtopets
Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Mykola Kryshtopets.
On May 24, 2025, the defender of Ukraine Mykola Kryshtopets died as a result of a sudden heart illness. This information was disseminated by 'Glavkom' referring to the Kostiopil City Council.
Mykola was born on May 10, 1973, in the city of Kostiopil. After graduating from school No. 1, he studied at a vocational school, where he acquired a profession as an electrician. He worked for over 25 years at the Kostiopil REM PJSC 'Rivneoblenergo'. His colleagues remember him as kind, responsible, and reliable. Together with his wife, they raised three children.
'He was the best... There are no better ones. Responsible, cheerful. Always with a smile, always ready to help. As a dad - kind, caring, nurturing. That’s how he will be remembered and that’s how he will remain for us forever,' - said Natalia Kryshtopets, the military man's wife.
Mykola decided to voluntarily enlist in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and contacted the recruitment center.
Starting from February 6, 2025, he served as a driver-electrician in the communications platoon. On May 24, 2025, Mykola died from a sudden heart illness. The military man was buried at the 'Nove' cemetery in Kostiopil.
Mykola Kryshtopets is survived by his wife and three children.
'Glavkom' joins in the silence. We remember all the Ukrainians who died in the fight for their homeland. May the light memory shine for all who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine: all military, civilians, and children, all who perished in the confrontation with the Russian occupiers and due to the attack of enemy forces on Ukrainian cities and villages.
