Are Russians allowed to compete in tug-of-war competitions? The response of the Secretary General of the International Federation.

The Secretary General of the International Tug of War Federation (TWIF), Maaike Hornstra, stated that Russian athletes cannot participate in international competitions. This is reported by Gazeta 'Glavkom'.
“TWIF follows the IWGA protocol (International World Games Association), which means that teams from Russia are not allowed to compete. While tug of war is a team sport, we do not expect athletes from Russia at our competitions,” Hornstra's words are cited by Russian propagandists.
It is noted that the Russian speed skater Ksenia Korzhova, who has been recognized as a neutral athlete by the International Skating Union (ISU), liked posts supporting the war.
Korzhova, in particular, liked posts featuring Putin, Russian servicemen, and the Russian military organization 'Yunarmiya'.
Nahorny has been sanctioned by Ukraine, Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom, and the European Union for supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russians who supported the war and whom 'Glavkom' wrote about lost the chance to go to the Olympics – in pairs skating, Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Galliamov were registered; in ice dancing – Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin.
