Do adult children receive compensation for a deceased soldier.

The law on one-Time cash assistance for relatives of deceased servicemen was explained by a lawyer. Adult children of the deceased also have the right to this assistance, regardless of whether other relatives have already received it.
Right to Money for Adult Children
Close relatives of servicemen who died at the front can receive one-time cash assistance for the deceased.
One of the lawyers explained that if the adult daughter of the deceased serviceman has questions about receiving money, she can seek help from human rights defenders. She has the opportunity to exercise her right to receive money until March 2026.
What to Do if the Money Has Already Been Distributed
Even if other relatives have already received this assistance, it does not prevent other relatives from receiving it. Lawyers advise turning to the court in case of a refusal of payment or redistribution of funds.
It is also worth mentioning that the government has made changes to the process of allocating cash assistance to the families of deceased servicemen.
The Ukrainian law establishes the right to one-time cash assistance for the relatives of deceased servicemen, including adult children. Changes in the process of allocating these funds give every family the opportunity to receive assistance if they believe they have the right to it.
