The Ministry of Finance has released data on changes in the prices of oranges and tangerines in supermarkets for Ukrainians.
As winter is approaching, many people begin to consume citrus fruits. Oranges and tangerines are two popular types that are very popular in winter.
According to the data, the average price of oranges in large supermarkets is 99.90 UAH per 1 kg. The highest price is in MegaMarket - 109.90 UAH per 1 kg, and the lowest in Metro - 89.90 UAH per 1 kg. You can buy oranges from Egypt for 74.90 UAH/kg, and premium ones for 97.75 UAH/kg.
As for tangerines, the average price is 84.87 UAH/kg, which is cheaper than last month's 122.20 UAH/kg. Spanish tangerines are sold for 149.90 UAH/kg, and clementines for 112.30 UAH/kg.
Overall, the prices of oranges and tangerines may affect Ukrainians' product choices this winter season.
It is worth noting that Ukrainians are now spending less on food.
