Attention drivers: the center of Kyiv will be impassable.

In Kyiv, on October 1, temporary restrictions on the movement of vehicles and pedestrians will be introduced in connection with the visit of foreign delegations.
This was reported by the State Security Administration of Ukraine.
The restrictions will be in effect in the central part of the city. The administration urges residents and guests of the capital to take this information into account when planning their movements.
According to the legislation of Ukraine, heads of foreign states, governments, parliaments, and international organizations who are in Ukraine on official or working visits are provided with state security.
The servicemen of the State Security Administration, together with the National Police, have the right to temporarily restrict or prohibit the movement of vehicles and pedestrians during the passage of foreign delegations. They can also restrict citizens' access to certain areas and objects.
These measures are carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On State Protection of Public Authorities of Ukraine and Official Persons" and the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated October 3, 2006.
