According to the Ministry of Finance, at the close of interbank trading on April 22, 2025, the US dollar and euro significantly increased against the Ukrainian hryvnia. The American currency rose by 21 kopecks both in buying and selling. At the close of the interbank, the dollar was trading at 41.60/41.63 UAH, while at the opening the quotes were 41.39/41.42 UAH. The euro also strengthened, adding 14 kopecks in buying and selling. At the end of the day, the European currency was quoted at 47.75/47.77 UAH compared to 47.61/47.63 UAH at the beginning of trading. In the cash market, there is a difference between bank and exchange rates. At bank counters, the US dollar is offered for purchase at 41.05 UAH, and sold for 41.60 UAH. As for the euro, it is bought for 47.20 UAH, and sold for 48.00 UAH. In exchange points, the rates differ slightly: the dollar is traded in the range of 41.20-41.34 UAH, the euro can be purchased for 47.55-47.80 UAH. Among banks, the highest dollar selling rate is held by Sens Bank (41.75 UAH), while the lowest is by Universal Bank and PUMB (41.60 UAH). When paying by card, the best rate for selling dollars can be found at Ukrsibbank (41.10 UAH), while the least favorable is at Raiffeisen Bank (42.02 UAH). The highest euro selling rate at bank counters was set by Oschadbank (48.15 UAH), while the lowest is by OTP Bank (47.95 UAH).
