Croatia plans to purchase up to 50 Leopard 2A8 tanks from Germany to replace its old Soviet equipment. In turn, Croatia plans to hand over 30 combat tanks and 30 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine by the end of 2024. This information was confirmed by the Croatian Minister of Defense after a meeting with his German counterpart in Berlin.
The fact that Croatia cooperates with us on the joint procurement of main battle tanks Leopard 2A8 strengthens Germany as an industrial center and ensures joint standards within NATO
