A foreigner at the Poland border decided to go fishing, but he was 'caught' by Ukrainian border guards.

Border guards in Lviv region detained a citizen of Turkey who attempted to cross into Poland disguised as a 'fisherman'.
On Saturday, border guards in Lviv region detained a citizen of Turkey who tried to illegally enter Poland while pretending to be a fisherman. Their interest was piqued by his two backpacks, one of which was filled with fishing gear, and the other with essentials for an illegal journey.
The foreigner initially crossed the Ukrainian border legally but decided to bypass legal checkpoints as he did not have the necessary documents to enter the European Union. A protocol has been drawn up regarding his violation of the law. The traveler explained that he intended to visit friends living in Europe.
The State Border Guard Service emphasized that attempts to illegally cross the border can lead to administrative or criminal liability. Citizens are urged to comply with the legislation and cross the border only through legal checkpoints.
It is worth noting that recently at the Ukrainian-Polish border, border guards discovered a fake married couple who had married for the purpose of illegal exit from the country. The fraudster decided to marry a woman with disabilities living in Kyiv for this plan.
