ISW revealed how Putin thanked Kim Jong-un for DPRK troops.

According to a report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russia is supplying oil, anti-aircraft missiles, and air defense equipment to North Korea as military assistance for the war against Ukraine.
In the last 8 months, over 12 North Korean tankers have made 43 trips to the oil terminal in the Russian Far East, returning with full tanks of oil.
The UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy noted that Russia received military equipment and arms from North Korea as payment for these supplies.
Besides oil, North Korea received anti-aircraft missiles and air defense equipment from Russia. Although the type of air defense systems is unknown, experts believe they may be of shorter range.
The ISW report indicates that the transfer of S-400s to North Korea from Russia would suggest a change in the Kremlin's political course, but analysts consider this less likely. It is more probable that North Korea received less sophisticated weaponry.
