China significantly reduced Russian oil imports.


July oil imports to China from Russia decreased by 7.4% compared to last year, due to restrained demand for fuel within the country.
According to the data of the U.S. Customs Administration, in July, Russian oil shipments to China amounted to 7.46 million tons, which is the lowest indicator since September 2022.
Supplies from Saudi Arabia increased by 13% compared to last year, amounting to 6.41 million tons.
Since the beginning of the year, volumes of supplies from Russia amounted to 46.79 million tons, which is 10% less than last year's volumes. At the same Time, volumes of supplies from the USA grew by 53% to 240,000 barrels per day.
Imports from Malaysia increased by 61% year-on-year, becoming the third largest supplier in July.
