Restaurateur Yevhen Klopotenko shared information about his residence in the center of Kyiv, which he rents for 42,000 UAH per month. He explained that he cannot afford to buy such an apartment due to having his own house by the Dnieper River and not wanting to spend Time looking for one. Yevhen spends about 40,000 UAH a month on groceries and experiments with food in his own kitchen.
‘For me, the grocery store is like a church. I relax and enjoy myself. I spend a lot of money on food because I need nothing else. I am not saving for anything.’
In Yevhen's walk-in closet, there is a large collection of embroidered shirts, and in the summer he plans to wear skirts. On the wall of his bedroom hangs a dried Christmas tree, which symbolizes for him the war and the need to remember it. He also surprised many by appearing in London during the war alongside a general.
