Odesa athletes involved in fatal car accident.

Runners from Odesa were involved in a terrible car accident while returning from a competition in Voznesenska. Unfortunately, one of the participants died as a result of this accident.

This was reported by a friend of the deceased on social media.

The vehicle carrying the athletes back to Odesa from Voznesenska in the Mykolaiv region was involved in a serious accident. As a result of the accident, the girl Anna was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state. Doctors fought for her life, but unfortunately, her heart stopped during resuscitation.

'The car that Anya was in had an accident. After that, she was in a coma in intensive care and did not survive it,' said a friend of the deceased girl.

Currently, the runners are in Voznesenska, where the deceased was from. The date of the funeral will be announced later.

It is known that the deceased girl competed in events for the club Vusofpain, which participated in numerous marathons in Odesa.
