During a missile strike by the Russian Federation, a fragment hit the heart of a Lviv resident: rescue story.


A 22-year-old Lviv resident who was injured by a shrapnel during a missile strike has already been discharged from the hospital, reported the First Medical Union of Lviv. The girl was admitted to the hospital on September 4 with a penetrating heart wound. The doctors promptly conducted surgery, during which they removed the shrapnel and stitched the damaged part of the heart. The patient is recovering quickly and has already been discharged from the hospital.
Recall that as a result of the Russian attack on Lviv on September 4, 7 people died, and 66 were injured, 10 of whom were children. One of the injured – a 22-year-old Lviv resident – has already been discharged from the hospital.

- Bazylevych Yevhenia – 43 years old;
- Demydova Iryna – 52 years old;

The attack also resulted in damage to three schools, a creativity center, the Regional Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Saint George the Victorious Church of the OCU on Chernivtsi Street.
