Died during rehabilitation after a serious injury. Let's remember Maxim Pogulya.

Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today let's remember Maxim Pogulya.
The city council of Bakhmach and the Zhytomyr city council reported this.
Maxim Pogulya was born on September 15, 1992 in the city of Bakhmach in Chernihiv region. He graduated from local school No. 1, and then studied at the Konotop Professional Technical School, where he received a specialty of 'assistant machinist'. Maxim was sincere, open, sociable, and kind-hearted. He worked in various jobs in Kyiv.
Maxim was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity and took part in the protests on Maidan. Since 2014, he was part of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Operation Unifier. Maxim loved Ukraine and was a true patriot. He was awarded departmental awards and badges for courage and selflessness in defending Ukraine. Returning to civilian life, he organized events for national-patriotic education of children and youth.
From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Maxim Pogulya supported territorial defense in Kyiv and went to the front in June 2022. He bravely fought on the hot fronts, defending Ukraine.
After a serious injury received during the fighting for the independence of Ukraine, Maxim Pogulya underwent rehabilitation in Zhytomyr, where his mother currently resides. Unfortunately, the defender's heart stopped on November 6, 2024.
The Hero was buried on November 9, 2024 in Zhytomyr.
'Glavkom' joins the minute of silence, honoring the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for the Motherland. We remember those who died at the hands of Russian invaders and light candles in their memory. We bow our heads in sorrow during the nationwide minute of silence, honoring the citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state - all military, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack of enemy forces on Ukrainian cities and villages.
