The Parliament officially addressed President Trump, Congress, and the American people.


Ukrainian lawmakers express deep gratitude for the support of Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity, and welcomed the peace initiatives of the President of the United States.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine issued an official address to President Donald Trump, Congress, and the American people, emphasizing the role of the USA as a strategic partner in supporting Ukraine during its most challenging periods in history.
In the address, published on March 3, the parliament expressed deep gratitude for the firm and consistent support of Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. It also expressed gratitude for the security aid packages that contributed to stabilizing the situation at the front lines.
'Ukraine deeply respects the great American people's desire for the full restoration of the United States' global leadership. At the same Time, we are convinced that US leadership on the international stage is inextricably linked to the defense of the ideals of freedom and democracy, adherence to international agreements, and support for allies and friends,' the address states.
Ukrainian lawmakers emphasized that the Ukrainian people desire peace more than any other nation and believe that the personal role of President Donald Trump and his peace efforts will be decisive for the quick cessation of hostilities.
The Verkhovna Rada also welcomed President Trump's initiatives to launch a negotiation process aimed at ensuring peace and emphasized the need for further development of strategic partnerships with the United States, particularly in the area of critical mineral extraction.
In the address, the parliament reaffirmed that Ukraine must remain an independent and sovereign state, and the Ukrainian people must be free and invincible.
'Together we are stronger!' - these words conclude the address of the Ukrainian Parliament.
