Ukraine has entered the top three leader for the third consecutive Time in the Open Data Maturity ranking with a data openness score of 97%, reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
Despite the full-scale war, the digital state has entered the top-3 countries in the European Open Data Maturity ranking for the third year in a row. The ranking shows how effectively a country manages, develops, and utilizes open data. A total of 34 countries participated in the study: France ranked first, and Poland came in second.
According to data from the Ministry of Digital Transformation, this year the maturity level of open data in Ukraine is 97%, while the average score in Europe is 83%. Additionally, since 2020, Ukraine has moved up in the ranking from 17th place to 3rd place thanks to the continuous efforts of the team.
The Ministry emphasized that open data is the foundation for effective and transparent government operations and will continue to develop this field in Ukraine to achieve even better results.
