Russia attacked Ukraine at night with 60 'Shahed' drones: how many reached their target.


Drone strikes on Ukraine: operation details
On the night of May 26 to 27, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 60 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation drones. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine disseminated this information through the media. The drones were launched from various directions, including Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Gvardeyskoye.
The overall defense was provided by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, as well as unmanned systems and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
«As of 09:00, 43 enemy Shahed-type drones (as well as other types) have been destroyed, of which 35 were shot down by strike assets, and 8 were intercepted/broken through electronic warfare means,» it was noted in the message.
Also, hits by enemy forces were recorded in 9 locations, as well as the fall of shot down strike drones in 3 locations.
We remind that Russian terrorists carried out one of the largest drone and missile strikes in the war against Ukraine on the night of May 25 to 26.
Researchers from the ISW institute confirm that during this operation, Russia demonstrates its attempts for complete subjugation of Ukraine. Moreover, it is assessed that the Russian government and military are preparing for a possible conflict with NATO.
