Russia attacked Odesa region with KAB bombs - what are the results.

The Russian Armed Forces attempted to attack Odesa, Mykolaiv, and the 'Yuzhny' port with KAB-type bombs, but Ukrainian military managed to prevent them from doing so, reported blogger from 'Dumska' Vitaliy Plakhotnyuk.
Unsuccessful attacks
According to Plakhotnyuk, the Russian Armed Forces repeatedly tried to attack the southern cities, particularly Odesa, using KAB bombs. However, the Ukrainian air defense intercepted these bombs as the planes were supposed to ascend to a great height, but they were prohibited from doing so.
“Thanks to the action of our air defense and aviation, the planes dropped these bombs far from the coastline and they simply did not reach their targets. However, it is important to remember that the enemy will continue such actions and try to increase the range of these bombs’ flights”, - noted Plakhotnyuk.
He also mentioned that the supply of new Patriot missile systems will strengthen the defense of the southern part of Ukraine and prevent Russia from striking with KAB-type bombs in these regions.
Recall that recently there have been reports of shelling in Mykolaiv region and damage as a result of attacks on Odesa.
Ukrainian military has managed to prevent the plans of the Russian Armed Forces to attack the southern cities and ports with KAB-type bombs thanks to air defense and preventive measures. Efforts to strengthen the defensive capabilities of these regions, including the supply of new missile systems, are ongoing to prevent similar attacks in the future.
