A Senegalese explains why he cried when he was captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


A Senegalese was captured by Ukrainian soldiers
Members of the 49th separate assault battalion 'Karpaty Sich' captured a citizen of Senegal. The foreigner stated that he simply wanted to get to Europe, but did not even imagine that he would end up at war. The Senegalese shared that he was advised to make money from the war, but when he realized how dangerous it was here, he surrendered to the Ukrainians.
The occupiers complain in captivityThe Senegalese tried to contact the Ukrainian military via drone to ask for help, and only after that was he arrested. After conversations with Ukrainian soldiers, he expressed a desire to return home, recognizing that Russia is bad and that Ukrainians provided him with medical assistance.
A journalist visited the largest camp for Russian prisoners of war in western Ukraine and learned that the working conditions for captive Ukrainians are not very similar to prison ones. Russian prisoners of war work an eight-hour day, performing various tasks.
During communication with Russian captives who were sent home, they were given the opportunity to express their grievances regarding their captivity. Their response was brief and clear: 'Tired.'
