Sybiga explained why Russia should be invited to the Second Peace Summit.

Sybiga: We will invite Russian representatives but will not support peace agreements without Ukraine
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga stated that Russian representatives should be invited to the second Peace Summit, but only on the condition of defining the principles of lasting peace in Ukraine.
This was stated by Sybiga during a ministerial conference on the human dimension of the Peace Formula in Montreal.
Yes, we support inviting Russian representatives to the second Peace Summit, but we will never support peace initiatives developed without Ukraine's involvement and behind its back. We will never support peace agreements at the expense of Ukraine. We will never support a peace agreement that does not punish the violators. - said Sybiga.
Sybiga emphasized that "unpunished evil returns greater." He noted that Ukrainians understand this better than anyone else.
The minister urged the conference participants to "jointly stop this evil once and for all."
It's hard to find another nation in the world that yearns for peace more than Ukrainians. But peace at any cost is not peace, but capitulation, occupation, deportations, and torture. Ukraine will never agree to this. - emphasized Sybiga.
Sybiga noted that the conference should take concrete steps toward the return of captives and deported persons to Ukraine.
In his opinion, the current international system has not done this effectively enough, so it needs to be corrected.
