The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office confirmed information about the investigative actions concerning officials of the National Guard of Ukraine. In a joint statement, NABU and SAP stated: 'We emphasize that the fact of conducting any investigative actions does not imply the guilt of any individuals in the commission of criminal offenses.'
The anti-corruption agencies emphasized that information about the results of the investigation will only be disclosed if there is sufficient evidence. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in turn, has already suspended six officials of the National Guard related to logistical support from performing their duties.
