The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has published its weather forecast for the upcoming weekend and the beginning of next week. According to meteorologists, on March 22, Saturday, there will be dry weather in Ukraine, despite a decrease in atmospheric pressure. Although in some regions, temperature drops are expected at night, during the day the air will warm up to comfortable values.
On March 23, Sunday, and March 24, Monday, atmospheric fronts of the mentioned direction will bring changes in the weather. The sky will become cloudy, and in the western, northern, and most central regions, light rains are expected.
Detailed forecast for March 22
The detailed forecast for March 22 predicts variable cloudiness without precipitation. The wind will be easterly and northeasterly with a speed of 5-10 meters per second. The temperature at night will range from +3 to -2 degrees, and during the day it will rise to +11-16 degrees. In the Carpathian region, temperatures are expected to be from -2 to -7 degrees at night and from +7 to +12 degrees during the day.
Warning about avalanche danger
The Hydro-Meteorological Center has also issued a warning about a significant avalanche danger in the highlands of Ivano-Frankivsk and the eastern part of the Transcarpathian region from March 21 to 24. The increased risk of avalanche descent is related to the rise in air temperature and the expected precipitation in the mountainous areas.
