An explosion occurred at a factory in Bashkortostan: significant destruction and casualties reported.


On the morning of May 16, an explosion occurred at the 'Svecha' factory in Bashkortostan, which produces paraffin. The incident led to partial collapse of the building. According to Russian media, four people were injured as a result of the explosion, and one more is trapped under the rubble. Three of the injured have been hospitalized in serious condition.
Currently, emergency services are working at the scene and have already localized the fire. As a result of the explosion, paraffin is burning over an area of 50 square meters. According to reports, the cause of the explosion was a breach in the furnace equipment due to violation of the technological process.

First, a fire erupted at the Saransk factory for the production of optical fibers, then two of the largest defense industry enterprises caught fire in Tula. Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny also witnessed heavy smoke in the area of the KamAZ plant.
