In Kyiv, farewell was said to a 19-year-old volunteer from Poland who died in the war.

A 19-year-old citizen of Poland, Filip Antosiak, who supported the Ukrainian drone strike unit, passed away in Pokrovsk. This information was reported by RMF24.
According to sources, Antosiak was assigned to the strike drone unit in the 25th Airborne Brigade.
The boy's parents live in Britain. They stated that Filip, after graduating from Cambridge, planned to serve in the British army but then decided to go to Ukraine.
«He always talked about his help to people in this country. He was proud of it when he called us. His first letter after leaving for Ukraine was an apology for the falsehood he told us about his plans. We miss him greatly, but we are proud of our son», - said the father of the fallen volunteer.
Today, January 30, a farewell ceremony for Filip Antosiak took place at St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral in Kyiv, from where the procession moved to Independence Square. During the ceremony, the anthems of Ukraine and Poland were played, and the coffin was covered with the flags of both countries.
Filip's parents attended the farewell, as well as representatives of the Polish consulate and various Polish organizations in Ukraine.
The parents were presented with a posthumous award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for Filip.
Filip will be buried in the city of Łowicz in the Łódź Voivodeship.
