IMF Forecast on Ukraine's GDP in 2024.

IMF Forecast: Ukraine's economic growth will slow down in the second half of 2024
According to the IMF forecast, Ukraine's real GDP will grow at a slower pace in the second half of 2024. This is due to the consequences of Russia's attacks on energy infrastructure, the impact of the war on the labor market, and a decline in business activity. It is projected that real GDP growth for this year will be 3%, with an inflation rate reaching 9%.
The situation with the electricity deficit before winter is critically important and will require joint efforts, including the involvement of international partners. Problems related to energy security will become one of the main challenges for the country.
For 2025, the IMF forecasts economic growth in Ukraine at the level of 2.5-3.5%. However, the risks associated with this forecast are extremely high and will require attention and development of additional measures.
