Ukraine will not accept peace at any cost: Sybyha named 3 key red lines in negotiations with the Russian Federation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybyha, stated that Ukraine is not ready to go for peace at any cost in negotiations with Russia. He outlined three 'red lines' that Kyiv is not going to cross. The first line is the refusal to recognize any occupied territories of Ukraine by Russia. The second line includes the unchanged structure of the army, defense industry, and military assistance from Ukraine's allies. The third line implies preserving the sovereignty of Ukraine and its right to choose alliances and unions.
Sybyha also noted that Ukraine will continue to work towards its NATO membership, regardless of the opinion of Russia and other countries. These statements were made in the context of reports about the possibility of a peaceful settlement of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia at the initiative of the Trump administration. Media reported that the US was ready to recognize Russia's control over Crimea and ease sanctions against Moscow.
