Ukraine to Receive a Large Share of the Arms Market - Hetmantsev Named the Way.

Thanks to the special Defence City program, Ukraine can capture a large share of the global arms market. Such a draft law is already being prepared in the Verkhovna Rada.
What is the Defence City Regime
This was stated by the head of the Financial Committee, Danilo Hetmantsev, in an exclusive interview for the 'Evening.LIVE' program.
We are discussing this draft law; in fact, a series of such meetings with businesses has already taken place. We have had five such meetings in various formats, with the participation of the Ministry of Defense and other ministries. I am convinced that the Verkhovna Rada will support this draft law in the first reading, and we will quickly finalize it before the second reading.
According to Hetmantsev, there is currently active preparation in the Ukrainian parliament regarding the Defence City regime. This is a separate legal regime for companies focused on military and dual-use technologies. The development has been carried out in close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense.
He stressed that the implementation of the Defence City regime will allow Ukraine to capture a large share of the developing global arms market.
We also reported that, according to Hetmantsev, Ukraine sells less than it buys, and therefore there could be a deficit of payment operations in 2025.
Earlier, Hetmantsev mentioned that there is still no system for mass insurance of military risks in Ukraine.
With the help of the Defence City program, Ukraine plans to take an important position in the global arms market by promoting the military-technical sector. The mentioned draft law is being prepared for consideration in the Verkhovna Rada, and its support could become an important step for the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.
