Ukrainians have been offered discounts on eggs — where to find them cheaper.

In Ukrainian supermarkets, prices for chicken eggs remain stable. In July, they average 65 UAH, but some chains are offering discounts to boost sales. The Novyny.LIVE website shares information on where to buy eggs at an affordable price.

Where to find budget eggs

According to the Ministry of Finance, the average price for a pack of category C1 eggs ranges from 64.80 to 73.53 UAH. The lowest price can be found at ATB — 59.90 UAH, and at Silpo — 59.99 UAH for second category eggs.

At Varus, the price of eggs can be even lower — starting from 53.80 UAH per pack. There is also the option to purchase unprocessed products for 39.90 UAH. Promotions with discounts of up to 50% on goods nearing their expiration dates are regularly held at Varus.

What to expect from chicken egg prices

According to the State Statistics Service, prices for eggs have increased by 62.7%. The cost of a dozen has risen and is currently around 53.60 UAH. However, experts do not anticipate a significant price increase in the future.

'When it comes to table chicken eggs, the price in July will stabilize at about the June level, and we will wait for the corn harvest. If it is good, there will be no significant price increase for eggs'

It is also noted that price reductions may occasionally occur. Various factors, such as production costs and overall inflation, impact the displayed prices in supermarkets.

Thus, Ukrainian supermarkets offer chicken eggs at stable prices in July, with the possibility of getting discounts in some chains. Experts do not foresee a significant price increase in the future, although price reductions are possible due to various factors. The market for nutritious products remains interesting for consumers who can find advantageous offers in different retail chains.
