Payments to the military — what are the maximum amounts provided in August.

Ukrainian servicemen receive a monthly cash allowance from the state. The size of these payments depends on the conditions of service, tasks performed, position, rank, and other factors. News.LIVE provides detailed information on the maximum payments that defenders can rely on.

The cash allowance for military personnel consists of two main parts: basic payments (salary, military rank allowance, length of service bonus) and additional accruals (for specific service conditions, special tasks, merits, etc.). In addition, servicemen may receive one-Time financial assistance depending on the circumstances of their service.

Base amount

The minimum size of cash allowance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is 20,100 UAH per month. This basic rate can increase depending on the branch of the military, position held, level of responsibility, duration of service, and military rank (soldier, sergeant, officer, etc.).

Additional accruals

According to Cabinet Resolution No. 168, military personnel may receive various bonuses for performing certain duties. For example, defenders performing combat tasks outside combat zones may receive 30,000 UAH. Thus, all possible bonuses combined with the basic salary can amount to a significant sum for a serviceman.
