Admitting guilt and asking to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine: a TCC employee in Odessa will be tried for profiting from draft dodgers.

The State Bureau of Investigations has completed its preliminary investigation into the employee of the Malinovsky TCC and SP in Odessa, who organized a scheme to evade mobilization. This was reported by the Bureau's press service.
According to the investigation, since March 2023, this employee illegally altered data in the 'Oberih' database. He received bribes ranging from $4,000 to $7,000 and entered false information about unfitness for military service. This allowed draft dodgers to avoid mobilization and leave the country.
After the criminal activities of this man were discovered, he was dismissed from the TCC and is currently in custody.
He now faces a fine or corrective labor for up to two years for violating Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The accused fully admitted his guilt and expressed his intention to rehabilitate himself by serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It should be noted that another scheme to evade mobilization was previously uncovered at the 'Krakivets' checkpoint, where an official helped men leave for abroad with forged disability certificates.
The State Bureau of Investigations also exposed doctors and officials of medical and social expert commissions who issued fake disability certificates to conscription-age men.
The Ministry of Health will check nearly 1,700 officials for fictitious disabilities.
