Major General Dmytro Krasilnikov was dismissed from the command of the 'Kursk' group of troops about four months ago, reports the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by the spokesperson, adding that the relocation of military personnel to new positions is a normal process in a military career, where they can be more effective.
As for the reasons for Krasilnikov's dismissal, he does not want to talk about it yet, but stated that there were no significant reasons for such a decision. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy, dismissed Krasilnikov from the position of commander of the 'North' Operational Command.
